LE UN is the restaurant established by NIPPONIA Hotel as part of its efforts to preserve and maintain the historical value of the former castle town of Ozu. Under the theme "local production for local consumption," the chefs of LE UN create French-inspired cuisine using local ingredients and regional specialties. Ozu is blessed by its proximity to the Seto Inland Sea, Hiji River, and nearby mountain ranges to provide an abundant variety of seafood and produce, such as spiny lobster, sea bream, chestnuts, and citrus. Dishes are served on Tobe tableware, a fine porcelain produced in the nearby Iyo district. Lastly, during the night, diners can enjoy the beautiful view of the illuminated Ozu Castle.
