Garyu Brewery is a craft beer brewery located in Ozu’s Hodono Silk Cocoon Warehouse, a red brick building that dates back to the Taisho era (early 20th century.) The building has been preserved to maintain Ozu City's old townscape and promote tourism, committed to revitalizing the local community by creating new regional specialties. The brewery uses locally grown kiwis and chestnuts to create unique craft beer flavors that everyone can enjoy, along with silk ale inspired by the building's and city’s history. Grab a drink from the English-style pub on the ground floor. Then, head upstairs to find an open space sitting area, with dried flowers and antique chandeliers from the exposed wooden ceiling and vintage sofas for your comfort.
